Goals from Stuart Tuck and Scott Ramsay gace Borough a well deserved victory at home to Havant and Waterlooville.
For once, Priory Lane was not completely windswept and an entertaining first half ended with Borough 1-0 in front.
After a Tuck free kick was blocked and Daren Pearce's header was cleared off the line by Chris Ferrett, a superb move lead to a goal on 42 minutes.
Danny Simmonds, Matt Smart and Matt Crabb all combined to force a corner and Tuck headed home.
Havant threatened at the start of the second half and Lee Hook pulled off a tremendous save when Luke Byles' 30-yard shot deflected off Ramsay.
But Borough doubled their lead on 62 minutes with a marvellous goal. Simmonds sent Ian Pulman through on a mazy run and he laid the ball off to Ramsay for a simple finish.
The home side could have gone further ahead as they began to control the game but Pulman and Ramsay both missed chances.
Havant had a late rally but the Borough defence held firm with Tuck and Stuart Playford outstanding.
