I am quite impressed with Sarah Gorrell, the new presenter of the early morning programme on Southern Counties Radio.

She has a brisk, efficient broadcasting style and we don't get the constant shouting, name-dropping and details of auditions for Casualty and The Bill that we had from JoAnne Good, her thespian predecessor.

One thing though, Sarah does have an alarming tendency to use the word "nutter" for anyone whose behaviour she can't understand. This is not very nice and I'm surprised the BBC allows it in these days of political correctness. I am sure mental health organisations like Mind will not approve of this.
