Your columnist Audrey Simpson is spot on (The Argus, February 6). Mark and Nicole Emmerson's One Paston Place was the outstanding restaurant of Brighton and Hove.
I remember every meal I had there and there would have been many more if I could have afforded it!
It could be expensive but it was always value for money.
Audrey Simpson is so right. We are knee-deep in restaurants and other food outlets but not one of them could match the consistent quality Paston Place offered.
And why not? I do wish other restaurants would reflect on what made One Paston Place so good. A city our size has to do better.
I hope the new owners of Paston Place are able to match the standards of the Emmersons. And many thanks to the Emmersons for 15 years of a first-class restaurant.
