Worthing United reduced Littlehampton's lead at the top of division two to one point with a 2-1 win at lowly Seaford.
Lee Weston and Gavin Jones put Worthing in control in the first half before Mark Doherty pulled one back for Seaford late on.
Worthing boss Ian Browne said: "For half an hour in the first half we were dynamite and could have gone in 5-0 up but their 'keeper was man-of-the-match."
Littlehampton booked their place in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup with a 2-1 win at Eastbourne United.
Pease Pottage climbed off the bottom with a 5-2 win at fellow strugglers Lancing. Haywards Heath Town now prop up the table.
