Brighton and Hove has become one of the favourite cities in Britain for film-makers.
More than 200 films were shot in the resort last year, including advertisements, music videos and documentaries.
City council environment director Jenny Rowlands said: "They have broadcast Brighton and Hove around the nation and the world."
Among the most popular programmes shot in the city were the BBC's Bargain Hunt, Would Like To Meet, on BBC2, and How Clean Is Your House? on Channel 4.
Perhaps the biggest hit was At Home With The Eubanks on Five, featuring the eccentric Hove-based ex-boxer Chris Eubank and his family.
Love All Productions shot scenes for the forthcoming movie Wimbledon, which is being billed as the next Notting Hill. About ten minutes of film was shot in the city during beautiful weather in September.
City locations were also used for EastEnders, The South Bank Show, Top Gear, Fame Academy and Inside Out.
Many commercials were filmed in the city, including those for Vauxhall Corsa and Zafira cars.
