So, P Pearce thinks that being a successful coach is some kind of defence for Nick Nurse after being convicted of driving while disqualified, eh?

Perhaps this blinkered fan would like to consider the consequences if Nurse, whose driving record includes the inability to avoid excess alcohol, caused an accident while illegally at the wheel.

No licence means no insurance. So anyone involved in an accident, whether innocently driving, walking, cycling, or travelling on the coach he was driving, would have no chance of any compensation.

Some role model, eh? The real injustice is that he has been punished with an extended ban - a punishment he has already demonstrated he has no regard for.

A custodial sentence might have been more appropriate.
