Worthing assistant manager Danny Bloor refused to use a catalogue of disasters as an excuse for a disappointing goalless draw at Croydon Athletic.
The Rebels were late arriving at the game after their coach broke-down and they had to call for a replacement.
Then the match was held up for 20 minutes when referee Mr O'Sullivan went off with chest pains just after the half hour mark. A replacement official was found from a local parks match but Rebels failed to get going.
Bloor said: "It was one of those days where everything went wrong but that's not an excuse. Although we dropped two points, it's still a draw away from home."
