Basil Brush owner Entertainment Rights has secured a pan-European broadcast distribution contract with a subsidiary of Time Warner for the Duel Masters animated series.
The deal with Turner Broadcasting System Europe will allow the series to be broadcast to more than 30 million homes in Europe on the Cartoon Network, Toonami and Boomerang.
Youngsters will not be able to remember Basil Brush in his heyday in the Seventies but now the furry fox with the "boom boom" catchphrase is making a comeback.
Natalie McTiffen, 18, from Newhaven, appeared dancing on the video of Basil Brushes' last CD single, released in December.
The final-year student at the prestigious Italia Conti School in London also danced with Basil and other performers at the CBBC Proms In The Park earlier this year.
Basil Brush made his television debut in 1963 and his Saturday evening show attracted 13 million viewers.
