I am wheelchair-bound and recently booked a place on a speed dating event organised by Speed Dater Ltd, one of Britain's leading speed dating agencies.
The event was in the downstairs bar of Al Duomo, an Italian restaurant in Brighton. However, the bar is inaccessible to wheelchairs.
A quick look at the Speed Dater web site indicates that all forthcoming Brighton events are to be held in this bar, effectively barring disabled people.
Surely an organisation of this size has the resources to find venues that are accessible to the disabled?
It's hard enough for disabled people to meet people and form relationships without this sort of unnecessary barrier.
