Chris Dicker hit a tremendous late equaliser as Worthing twice fought back to earn a point at bottom side Epsom and Ewell.

Dicker's left-footed strike from 25-yards 14 minutes from time came only 11 minutes after Rebels had been reduced to ten men with the dismissal of Mark Pulling.

Pulling saw red for collecting two bookings in quick succession.

Worthing, beaten only three times since early December, suffered an early shock when Simon Hatton headed in from a corner by Jamie Buckley in the 11th minute.

But former Albion striker Darren Freeman equalised five minutes before the break by stooping to head home after Dicker's free-kick from the right was nodded across the face of the goal by Nko Ekoku.

Epsom restored their advantage less than a minute into the second half through Ross Shofield, who caught goalkeeper Will Packham off his line with a shot from 40 yards.

Packham later kept his side in the contest by making an important save from Chris Read as Worthing were made to battle hard to take something from a difficult tussle at Merland Rise.
