Leon Knight today revealed the reason for his return to top form for Albion - a new pair of boots.
Knight has swapped silver boots for white ones as part of the three-year sponsorship deal he has with Reebok.
He wore them for the first time in Wednesday's 3-0 home win against Tranmere Rovers.
Knight chipped his 22nd goal of the season and manager Mark McGhee described him as "back to his best."
Knight said: "I had the boots sent to me on Tuesday. I trained in them on Wednesday and then played in them and they felt comfortable.
"I would be the first to admit I've had a dip in form. I have not been dreadful in every game but I've not been myself.
"I have still been getting on the scoresheet here and there, which is good for me, and I feel as well now as I did in late October.
"Now we have got to improve our away form. If we at least get a point away every game and continue to win at home then we will be right up there."
Fifth-placed Albion seek their first away victory for four months tomorrow against Port Vale, who are four places and five points below them with a game in hand.
