Manager Alan Pook believes Worthing's never-say-die attitude will help them finish in the top six this season.
The Rebels moved up to seventh in division one south after a thumping win over Marlow at Woodside Road.
Sam Francis scored his 31st of the season to give Worthing the lead on 39 minutes and Mark Knee doubled the advantage on the hour.
Darren Freeman added another from the penalty spot and the former Albion striker finished off a comfortable win six minutes from time.
Pook said: "We have been in a rough patch lately because we had key players missing but there is a strong never-say-die attitude at the club that pulled us through it."
