Hastings manager Steve Lovell was still not happy despite watching his side's 3-0 win over promotion-chasers Stamford.
United had Albion loan keeper Chris May and defender Peter Mortley making their debuts and took the lead on 31 minutes when Ryan Peters scored a penalty.
Mitchell Sherwood doubled the lead on 56 minutes and substitute Peter Taylor put the game beyond doubt with seven minutes remaining.
Lovell said: "If you were a Hastings supporter then you would be pleased but I want more. Although the result was excellent, I know we can play better."
