Even with "hundreds of eyes", that mythical peacock, The Argus, can't take in everything.

I'm glad it noticed my facetious comment about decision-making in Westminster made to taxi drivers (The Argus, March 10).

What a pity it missed my next sentence explaining that the decision would be made by both the Departments of Transport and Trade and Industry.

But why let a fact get in the way of a good quip?
