Detectives believe they are close to solving the murder of a Jamaican man who was stabbed to death and pushed over a 450ft cliff in a barrel at Beachy Head.
They think Orville Donovan Gordon, 39, was killed in a gangland-style execution following a robbery at a takeaway restaurant in south London.
Police linked blood found at the Hellshire Chat-Bout Jamaican takeaway in Loughborough Road, Brixton, with Mr Gordon's DNA.
Detectives believe Mr Gordon was killed at the unoccupied restaurant then driven to the infamous chalk cliffs near Eastbourne and hurled over.
It has emerged that a white van, believed to have transported Mr Gordon's body to Beachy Head, has been found in a street in Camberwell, south London.
Mr Gordon's body was one of three found close together at the base of the cliff in January.
He had been wedged into a 50-gallon blue plastic drum with his arms and legs bound and a bag taped over his head.
Unmarried, he arrived in the UK on a tourist visa in 2001 and is thought to have been living in the Brixton area.
A 34-year-old man from south London has been arrested and released on police bail pending the results of scientific tests.
Three other suspects are thought to have left the country.
