Wouldn't it be luverly!
How would it be if, in order to raise the moral tone of the country, the city of Brighton and Hove set an example to the world and had supermarkets and shops closed all day Sunday and perhaps late night closing on Thursday instead?
Family life might be restored again and there would be less pollution, with tiny tots learning the pleasures of Sunday with their parents and perhaps even going to church or the park?
What a great difference it would make. Shopworkers would all be at home and having a real rest from the rigours of work. The roads would be quieter and the rest of us could sit back and enjoy watching the children at play under the supervision of their parents.
The small corner shops could remain open as and when they wish.
