Cash collected at the gay Pride event has been given out to projects in Brighton and Hove.
The annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) carnival attracted more than 70,000 spectators to the city last August.
During the all-day festival in Preston Park which followed the carnival procession, buckets were circulated to collect cash, which is given out as grants to local LGBT organisations.
This week, Pride awarded £16,768 in grants from the cash raised last year.
Philip Marini, of the grants panel, said: "We received a diverse range of high-quality applications and were able to offer something to everyone.
"We are delighted to have helped so many organisations, including the development of three newly-formed LGBT groups.
"One of Pride's main objectives is, of course, not only to support existing groups but to encourage fresh support, activities and ideas."
Among the organisations which have benefited are the Youth Advice Centre, Addaction, Bang Shee Drumming Group, Rainbow Families and the Lesbian Link.
