I want to praise our Royal Sussex County Hospital, in particular Ward L8A east, where I have just spent two-and-a-half weeks for a double hip replacement.
Everybody connected to this ward treated me with kindness and respect, as did all the departments encountered during major surgery.
The ward was spotless, light and airy, with bed linen replaced every morning without fail. Nothing seemed too much for the cheerful, caring, staff.
So many complaints are aired about the NHS, so please give praise where it is due. It was a privilege to be on this ward and I could not fault it. Thank you staff.
I hope to be tramping the Downs again with my two dogs very soon, thanks to this wonderful team.
