Burgess Hill coach Darin Killpartrick has urged his players not to hide in the run-in to the season.
The Hillians got their quest for a top eight finish back on track with a 3-2 away win against Corby.
Victory looked in doubt after the home side scored in the first minute through Michael Sneddon.
Matt Geard equalised on 12 minutes with a curling 20-yard free-kick and Shaheen Sadough put Hillians ahead four minutes later with a deflected shot.
Corby hit back five minutes before half time from a Mark Forbes penalty after a handball by Nicky Bridle. But Nicky Sullivan sealed victory with his 28th goal of the season after the break.
Killpartrick said: "This is the exciting part of the season and we want the players to give it a real go. We can't afford to have anyone who is going to hide because it's going to go right to the end."
Hastings played their best football of the season in a 1-0 home win against promotion-chasing Banbury United, according to manager Steve Lovell.
Striker Chris Honey scored the winner on 39 minutes when he latched onto a long ball by Carl Rook and finished confidently.
