Tory leader Michael Howard has topped a poll asking small businesses which party leader they would most like to run their company.
The former home secretary scooped 37 per cent of the vote, ahead of Chancellor Gordon Brown on 32 per cent.
Lib Dem leader Charles Kennedy brushed off concerns of ill health to grab 16 per cent of votes, while Prime Minister Tony Blair came last with 15 per cent.
