Businesses are being offered the key to an online city with the launch of a web version of the Juicy Guide to Brighton and Hove.
Co-authors Gilly Smith and Jeremy Novik have teamed up with internet data management company Mapbyte.
The Juicy site will be hosted by Mapbyte, whose award-winning web site Mapminder.co.uk has just been revamped.
It will contain everything in the book - reviews and listings - but also include private and public discussion forums.
Businesses will have access to a facility called Mapaphone to help them find appropriate contacts, share local knowledge and recruit staff.
Gilly Smith said: "This is the first time Mapminder has gone into a city in any real depth."
The Juicy Guide site will be at www.juicymapminder.co.uk from Tuesday.
