Manager Garry Wilson has already celebrated a successful season, even though Eastbourne Borough have not yet guaranteed their place in the Conference south.
Borough picked up a vital point in a goalless draw with Nuneaton at Priory Lane, which could be good enough for the top 13 finish they need for promotion.
Three points separate Borough in ninth and 16th-placed Moor Green with one game to go.
Wilson said: "We had a drink after the game to celebrate the season as a whole because it has been brilliant, no matter what happens from now on.
"I'm not sure whether we are definitely safe because it's so tight and so many teams are involved. We would be very unlucky to miss out because a lot of results would have to go against us.
"Someone said they had worked out that the worse we could finish was 13th, but I'm not getting carried away until I know it is definite."
