I was interested to read your story about new contracts being offered to young Albion players Dan Beck and Dean Hammond (The Argus, April 21).
It will be useful if Dan can put pressure on Gary Hart as David Lee has been inadequate in Division Two.
I am sure all Albion fans hope the club also offers improved, extended contracts to the four jewels in our crown - Leon Knight, Danny Cullip, Dan Harding and Jake Robinson.
All are signed up beyond this season but the longer they are under contract, the better.
