Staff at TGI Friday's in Crawley celebrated yesterday after the restaurant chain was named the 15th best workplace in the UK by the Financial Times.
The American-style diner was the only restaurant in the list and was also placed at number four in the list for the UK's most fun place to work.
In addition it was named as among the top 100 workplaces in the entire European Union.
Ian Waghorn, general manager at TGI Friday's in Crawley Leisure Park, said the findings had given his staff a big boost.
He said: "This result is all the more special because our track record was not just compared to the hospitality industry but to every other employer in Britain and the EU."
