What is Brighton and Hove City Council doing about the Weald Avenue allotments site?
Why is it letting the allotments become run down and not letting them out by saying there are only six allotments and a six months' waiting list when, in fact, there are 63 plots empty and there is no waiting list.
I suspect it is a scam. The council can sell the site to construction companies to build blocks of flats.
Every year, the allotment rents go up and the people who pay this get less and less.
Come on, councillors, what is the intention for this site?
