How reassuring that Tony Blair tells us no more British troops will be sent to Iraq.

In view of the 25+ British troops killed in friendly fire, instances of equipment failing on the battlefield and basic equipment not being supplied, soldiers must be breathing a collective sigh of relief.

But if Britain had not stuck its nose into the affairs of another country in the first place, more than 150 British troops would still be alive today.
