Perhaps Mr Skull (Letters, April 19) would care to read the first paragraph of my previous letter again then tell me how he reconciles his implied charge of arrogance with my words "care and consideration for others"?
I have no sympathy at all with oafs tearing along the pavement on cycles three abreast, nor with maverick cyclists causing havoc on the esplanade. After all, there is a good cycle path from Hove to Brighton.
My remarks related to urban through-routes. Obviously, the same comments cannot apply to crowded shopping streets such as Blatchington Road and George Street.
