Leisure business Whitbread is planning to invest millions in the South-East, creating hundreds of jobs.
The company, which runs hotels, restaurants and health and fitness clubs across the UK, has announced high growth for the sixth time in a row in its full-year results.
Whitbread is capitalising on the good news by seeking to expand in the South-East with a further £29.4 million investment which will create 320 jobs in coming months.
The business is focusing the money in its strongest returning brands, including budget hotel brand Travel Inn, Brewers Fayre and David Lloyd Leisure.
Chairman Sir John Banham said: "The popularity of Whitbread's brands has never been greater."
