I hope readers will take the opportunity to go along and view the work of so many talented artists in the Open House Trails.
I went with friends to 31 Havelock Road, Brighton, where we were given a very warm and friendly welcome and we saw some original and beautiful hand-thrown ceramics produced by Frances Doherty, colourful and thought provoking oil paintings and prints by Jane Denman and unusual yet very tasteful nudes photographed by Nick Bengtsson.
There was a wonderful selection of hand-made jewellery and two beautiful ceramic sculptures of flowers, one a foxglove and the other a delphinium.
It was well worth a visit. There are a lot of talented people out there.
