Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the increasing number of drivers who do not wear seatbelts?
I was at a crossing the other day and out of ten cars that passed six had drivers without seatbelts.
There is also a more worrying trend of parents to allow their toddlers to stand in the back between the two front seats. How would they feel if they had to brake suddenly and the child flew into the windscreen?
When I add to this the increasing number of children on bikes with no protective head gear, I begin to wonder if the population has had a safety bypass. Why don't the police do more to stamp this out?
