I hugely enjoyed the revival of the visual arts during the Brighton Festival and thought that the prominence of work in the city centre was an excellent way of bringing arts out of the galleries and into the high street, thus widening the audience.
The standard of the submissions was excellent. While reading the coverage of the Festival's visual art competition in last Friday's edition of The Argus I was slightly disappointed to see that only two of the four prize-winners' work was featured.
Is there any future plan to show the work of the other prize winners in The Argus? The prize and the visual arts in general would benefit from the inclusion in the paper.
Many thanks and keep up the excellent coverage of the arts in Brighton.
