I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Royal Sussex County Hospital for all their help regarding my husband John.
He was taken ill suddenly, rushed into A&E and then admitted into Intensive Care, where he died five days later, leaving my two sons, Jack, seven, Harvey, three, and me devastated.
The level of care he and our families received throughout from every level was excellent.
The nurses and Doctors worked so incredibly hard, helping not only John but all the other patients that needed constant care.
I would also like to thank all the people who have written, visited, phoned and sent flowers with their kind words and offers of help.
We didn't realise how many peoples lives John touched with his friendly chat, sense of humour and sunny outlook. He was a true Brightonian who loved the city and was a lifelong Seagulls fan.
