Behrooz Mahdavi claimed another sprint double as Brighton stayed on course for a third successive promotion in the Southern Men's League.
The Iranian won the 100m and 200m for the second time this season as Brighton won their division two match at Thurrock, finishing 12 points ahead of the host club on 124 points.
There was a double for Brighton in the 800m too with Czech Ondra Brazdil taking the A string and David Boyce the B race.
Matthew Bristow won the 1,500m in 4mins.03.09sec and Brighton also won both relays.
The absence of their three biggest point-scorers from last season, Phil Goulding, Dominic Chapman and Chris Park, is continuing to hamper Worthing who finished fifth at Haringey.
Highlights for Worthing came from James Birkes, who won the long jump with 6.47m, and James Skelton's 1.60m in the B high jump.
Hastings finished second at Bexley, 14.5 points behind the hosts.
There were encouraging second places for East Grinstead and Chichester in division three.
At Crawley, Billy Denyer and Tony Crossley completed a rare steeplechase double for Grinstead while Matt Watts and James Crittell took high jump honours as they finished 17 points behind Croydon.
Chichester excelled in field events at Kingston where they came in 16 points behind winners Wimbledon.
