The first phase of Northbrook Business Park, a new industrial development in East Worthing, is nearing completion.

Phase one comprises 12 units of 3,580sqft and 2,280sqft, which are all available on a freehold basis.

Units one and 12 are under offer and there is strong interest in the others.

Prices range from £221,000 for units of 2,280sqft up to £340,000 for units of 3,580sqft.

They are being marketed jointly by Clifford Dann Commercial and Stiles Harold Williams.

Duncan Marsh, director of Stiles Harold Williams, said: "We have received considerable interest in this scheme from companies in Worthing, Brighton and neighbouring towns where freehold units are not readily available."

The strength of interest has persuaded developers Rokeagle to start the second phase of the scheme, which is due to be completed in October of this year.

Stiles Harold Williams has also acquired three retail units in Brighton, Crawley and Basingstoke on behalf of food retailer Subway.

The property in Brighton is in London Road and comprises a retail unit of 1,203sqft with 274sqft of ground-floor storage and a self- contained, two-bedroom, first-floor flat. The annual rent is £35,000pa.

The property in Crawley is in The Boulevard and comprises a retail unit of 560sqft. Subway has been granted a new ten-year lease at an aggregate rent of £21,400pa from landlords Mountcharm, represented by Egan Lawson.

The property in Basingstoke is in Festival Place Shopping Centre and comprises a retail unit of 1,300sqft plus mezzanine.

"We have franchises for sale in every major centre in Sussex and Hampshire and have further stores in solicitors' hands in Brighton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Shirley, Fareham and Winchester."
