Having just returned from Cardiff, I could not wait to comment on the sportsmanship shown by the Bristol City supporters.
In the lowest moment of their season, having had their hopes of promotion dashed they showed all the old fashioned virtues that we were once so proud of.
As our coach left Cardiff we passed thousands of City supporters making for their transport. Almost all of them, seeing our Albion bedecked coaches, turned and applauded us.
I hope we can show the same grace in defeat should we be so called upon.
