Student cricketers are thrilled with a sponsorship deal which could set them up for the new season. The Graduate Recruitment Bureau has stepped in to support the Brighton University women's cricket team and has paid for the players' tracksuits, which will feature the company logo emblazoned on the back.
The Hove-based firm helps students find work experience or internships during term-time and provides information to improve their chances of getting a top job following graduation.
Marketing director Dan Hawes said: "By raising our profile at Brighton University through sponsorship we have seen a rapid increase in the number of applicants. We are unique in Sussex in having a CV database of such a range of students and graduates with excellent degrees. Having these students registered makes it easier for employers to target this audience in one hit."
"Once students have left University it can be difficult to reach them through other advertising."
