I would like to pen a few thoughts on the opening of Princess Diana's Memorial.
I had the honour to see her and shake her hand when she visited Brighton for a conference around 1990.
You ran an interview with my wife, self and grand-daughter, Rebecca who was about 18 months old at the time of Diana's visit.
She (Diana) smiled and touched Rebecca's cheek as she came out of the Brighton Centre.
A number of people today think that Prince Charles should be forgiven and he and Camilla allowed to get on with their lives, among them Judy Finnegan (Richard and Judy - Channel 4) in an article recently.
Personally, I think the media will never let Prince Charles forget Diana and his infidelity, for hardly a day goes by without some mention of the People's Princess.
Judy (if you read this) I would like to ask you just one question:
How would you feel if your husband, on your honeymoon, wore cuff-links engraved with his girlfriend's initials?
