I, too, had the pleasure of shaking hands with Princess Diana when she came to Brighton in 1990.
It is something I will never forget. But forgive Prince Charles? Never. If he wants Camilla, let him have her.
But not the throne as well. He should stand down and let Prince William take over.
The people will never forget Diana. The Royal Family should have stayed away from the opening of her memorial and let William and Harry do the honours.
If they thought so much of her, why didn't they help her when she needed help so much, when she was first married.
In a week's time they will have forgotten that speech.
No, Your Majesty, time does not heal that fast.
