The UK's first lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) jobs fair will be held in Brighton and Hove in the autumn.
The fair aims to celebrate the contribution made to the city by its LGBT community of more than 30,000 people.
Organisers say the event also marks recent changes in employment law.
Persia West, of the organisation running the event, A Place At The Table, said it would be an ideal opportunity for businesses to find good members of staff, as well as a chance to actively demonstrate commitment to diversity.
The fair has the support of Brighton and Hove City Council, Jobcentre Plus, Spectrum, Stonewall, the Clare Project and the Gender Trust.
Major employers have shown an interest in the jobs fair, which is being promoted in Brighton and Hove, Sussex and throughout the South-East.
It will be at Hove Town Hall on Wednesday, September 8, from 11am to 7pm.
Companies interested in exhibiting should email info@aplaceatthetable.co.uk or call 01273 243862 or 725312.
