I wonder who eventually will win the Brighton Procrastination Stakes? Originally there were three entrants but unfortunately the West Pier has literally dropped out of the running.
So now the race is on between the two finalists - Dome Organ and Falmer Stadium (decision).
The organ has been unable to call the time because, although all keyed up under trainer Nick Dodds, unfortunately, this superb but obstinate thoroughbred refuses to perform until the correct humidity is obtained in the Dome's twin stables.
Meanwhile, Dick Knight, astride Falmer Stadium, has shown admirable patience and tenacity in tackling heavy going on the course with nimby outcrops and legal obstacles. However, he displays the ultimate vision - a creation with a design of outstanding structural beauty.
My money is on Dick and I have renewed my Albion season ticket.
