I would like to reply to Mrs Irene Macari (Letters, July 18).
My dad is a police officer and it makes me really cross when people complain about them. My dad works really hard. He has been kicked, punched, pushed and somebody even spat on him. I get scared when he goes to work because I worry about him.
He tells me not to - his job is a very important one. I would like to know what Mrs Macari's job is. I bet it's not as dangerous as my dad's.
The policemen are doing their best, so please stop moaning. We have been burgled, too, but that is horrible people's fault, not my dad's.
