Your interview with Lynne Truss (The Argus, July 17) helps highlight the importance of good spelling and punctuation.

In Tesco, Church Road, Hove there is a terrible example of bad punctuation on the signage.

From the day the nice new store opened, it has displayed a sign saying "Kids video's" (where it should read "Kids' videos").

That this sign appears in close proximity to books on spelling and punctuation (including Eats, Shoots And Leaves) makes it all the more inexcusable.

It can also be seen from the road. I have pointed this out to several staff members and put it in two comments slips - all to no avail.

Tesco is setting a terrible example, especially to children, and should take action to remedy the position without further delay.
