The number of firms looking to recruit more staff in Worthing has risen by ten per cent.
A survey by employment agency Manpower has forecast a recruitment drive across all sectors in the town.
Megan Russell, Manpower branch manager, described Worthing as "bustling" and "modern".
She said: "We are delighted to see confidence about future employment levels is buoyant in the area."
The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey provides a forecast of employer hiring intentions from July to September this year.
