Further to Simon Flacks' article about "tart cards" (The Argus, July 17), I trust that "Debbie" has no need to advertise her wares via phone boxes?
She sounds too classy for that - as the illustration seemed to indicate. Many residents are offended by such "tart cards", as they are known in the trade.
If the Home Office consultation paper results in getting rid of them, so much the better.
In the meantime, BT has a freepost address dealing with "unsolicited cards", as they are known to BT: BT Payphones, PO Box 1105, Freepost LV7117, Liverpool, L73 4BT.
If you send the cards to BT and identify the kiosks they were found in, it helps track down the culprits.
