Regarding East Sussex County Council and Brighton and Hove City Council's proposed improvements for buses and cyclists on the A259 between Ovingdean and Telscombe Cliffs and the descriptive public exhibitions at Telscombe and Rottingdean, Councillor Duncan Ward's indignation at the absence of an exhibition in Saltdean is well justified (The Argus, July 17).
Saltdean is a large, active community, not just a pretty place, with traffic problems of our own. Our residents are entitled to a public exhibition instead of having to drag around to Rottingdean or Telscombe.
But there is still time for the councils to put things right with an exhibition at one of Saltdean's accessible venues. So get moving.
Incidentally, Brighton doesn't end at Rottingdean crossroads. It includes west Saltdean, just over the hill, out of sight.
