Garry Wilson hopes Matt Piper will be the first of many young Albion players to join Eastbourne Borough this season.
Piper has signed for Borough on a three-month loan deal as part of a new agreement between the two clubs to give Albion's youngsters first team football in the Conference south.
The defender played six times for Borough during a loan spell at the end of last season and has been allowed to return to Priory Lane to gain more experience.
Borough manager Wilson said: "We are keen to develop our relationship with Albion and an agreement like this will benefit both clubs.
"Nothing has been set in concrete but we have been talking to Albion and agreed that this kind of link works to everyone's advantage. The idea is that their players get experience when they need it and we get good young players when we need them.
"Albion already help out other non-league clubs in the county by loaning them players. I think it is nice that they support other local clubs and it is good we get involved too.
"Matt came in at the end of last season and did well for us and we are glad to be able to welcome him back. Hopefully we will have a few more like him over the season."
Wilson will get the chance to take a look at some of the players he might like to bring in on loan when Borough take on a young Albion side in a friendly at Priory Road tomorrow night (7.30). It will be Borough's second game in 24 hours after they travel to Arundel tonight (7.30)
Meanwhile, Worthing are looking at two trialists who finished last season with Windsor and Eton.
Youness Nabil and Brahim Eloumani both played in Saturday's comfortable friendly win against County League side East Preston.
Well-travelled striker Nabil includes Crawley among his former clubs while Eloumani is a left-side attacker who has played for Morocco under-21s.
Crawley trio Peter Fear, Ian Payne and Nigel Brake also played against East Preston. Payne signed a two-year contract after the game while the other two are still considering their options.
