There have been reports of two dog attacks recently in The Argus but I witnessed something the other day which proves it's not always the animals' fault.
I was at Brighton station when three women appeared with two well-behaved dogs on leads.
Suddenly, a boy, aged about 12 or so, ran up to them and kept trying to entice them away.
He kept calling them and running around them and hiding behind things and jumping out.
One dog took no notice but the other was clearly fed up with him.
The boy kept on and on until finally it barked at him, which sent him running, looking very bothered.
That could have been serious and ended up in an attack and it would not have been the dog's fault.
