One and a half cheers for John Prescott. At least we know that unless one of the other sites proves to be better Falmer should get his consent.
Let us hope cost and availability are part of the equation, since some of the sites mentioned are not readily available (as Falmer is) and/or would be massively expensive.
The owners of some sites could well resist the sale of the land.
Let's hope that rules them out, otherwise the city council would have to consider making a compulsory purchase order and owner's objections would lead to another inquiry.
