Crawley have sold striker Joff Vansittart to Sutton United for a four-figure fee.
The 29-year-old, who had a year left on his contract, had been put on the transfer list at his own request because he could not commit himself to an extra night of training.
Vansittart, who was in his second spell at Crawley, scored ten goals in 28 appearances last season.
Crawley continue their pre-season programme at Hampton and Richmond tonight (7.45pm).
Lewes are trying out two new goalkeepers. Nigerian Ade Bankole made 52 League appearances for Crewe before being released in the summer while Kevin Davies has recently been on trial at Crawley.
