Brighton's famous Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) got no stars in the Healthcare Commission's annual performance ratings (The Argus, July 21). This just won't do.
Remedially, the first priority is to release superfluous management and admin staff and replace bad management, starting at the top. Don't hesitate. Dead weight is an unnecessary hindrance to a quality product.
Run efficiently as it could be, the NHS has the potential to offer instant, modern, free quality medical care to everybody in our country.
Put patients first and, with decent pay and conditions for the staff, let's make RSCH one of our top hospitals in the very near future.
